Jack O Lanterns
On Halloween Eve, we decided to spend the evening at home to carve our pumpkins. Since Ally's not old enough to participate in the actual carving, we let her paint some white pumpkins. She's never painted before, so our expections were low, but she instantly caught on.
She was really proud of herself, and we were proud too, especially since she didn't make any messes or get any in her hair.
Sophia was kind of grossed out when we cleaned out the pumpkin, but she was still happy to help.
She also did an excellent job helping Daddy carve the design she picked out.
Sophia picked an Ariel design to match her costume this year. All the neighborhood kids under the age of 10 instantly recognized who it was, so I'd say it was a success.

One of Katherine's friends did the same design but by the time we saw it at her house, a week after Halloween it was not quite so recognizable.
