Sophia has been on a month long hiatus from rolling over, but she has now started rolling over with a vengence! If you lay her on her tummy, it'll take her 1-2 seconds tops to roll onto her back. She's literally doing it in her sleep now! She also pulled up for the first time using the pole on her swing. We took a picture of her right afterwards and she couldn't look more proud.
Sophia has learned to make rasberries with her mouth, and it's the cutest little thing. She'll do it again and again, like a little motor boat! She also started using her thumb and index finger to grasp things (her pincer grasp). When I realized she was doing this, I started giving her Cheerios to practice with. Trent is really excited about this because he gets to eat all the Cheerios she drops.
She loves to have us hold her underneath her arms so she can "walk" but it's not the most ergonomic activity, so I bought her this baby walker in the hopes it'll save our backs some wear and tear. She hasn't really gotten the hang of it yet, but I have feeling she'll be cruising around soon. Here she is with her walker showing off one of her newest tricks: holding on with one hand.
She had yet another first this weekend - her first time to fall alseep while playing.
